Flatlander Festival, Inc. is a Kansas non-profit corporation established to hold the annual festival.  The board is made up of community minded volunteers from Sherman County Kansas. The festival started with the Car Club Rod Run in 1986 later adding the Street Festival and Bike Club Show. The festival now takes over nine city blocks in downtown Goodland, KS.
