THE FLATLANDER FESTIVAL is a 30 year Western Kansas event based on community hospitality, home town pride and spirit which has become an annual event attracting thousands of people.
The Festival joins together different community groups, each holding separate events, over a three day period in Goodland, KS. The Flatlander Festival Committee Coordinates the weekend into the premiere event of North Western Kansas and the
Goodland, KS is located on interstate 70, 17 miles from the Colorado border and 50 miles from the Nebraska border. Participants come from many states and involve themselves in activities as the festival takes over downtown main street.
Come party on the prairie with a unique family-oriented motorcycle show, one of the best in the country.

Flatlander Fall Classic Races include IMCA Hobby Stocks, Stock Car, Modifieds, North. Sport Mods and Econos. Fun for the whole family.
Main Street transforms into an 8 Block Festival with many food, product and service booths for the thousands of visitors to enjoy. Booth Space is available.

The color run is open to EVERYONE in the community and we encourage you to join us.
The My School Color Run is an untimed fun run which will be 2 miles. Throughout the course participants will experience color splash zones where they'll be doused in color! All ages are welcome! The Color Run will start at Chambers Park at 9:00 am.

Every wonder what it would be like to put a 172 hp engine or TWO engines in your garden tractor? Now you can find out at the KC Garden Tractor Association Flatlander Festival Pull. Located next to Herl Chevrolet on Hwy 27 and Enterprise Rd. Saturday Sept. 29th. Registration Starts at 9:00am and the Pull starts at 10:00am. Come join us in the Grand Stands.
